This space is to share my real experience of shopping online, providing ratings of respective blogstores, both good and bad ones.

Now some very horrible stories to share...

Blog Name: ClosetBarter
Owner: Zu-er
http://closetbarter.blogspot.com/
Rating: 2/10
Swap for my Taiwan BN Off-shoulder Top with Her Torn Bolster, An Old Scratched Locker, a 2nd-Hand Tom&Jerry VCD + Topup $4

1) Offered swaps, but was very relunctant to meet at my convenient meetup location (Amk) She claimed that the bolster was very big, and she had to LUG to the MRT station. However, it was really really far from my convenient locations~ Hence she suggested to meet somewhere in middle our convenient locations. I was ok.

2) 2 Days ago prior to the meeting, I already confirmed with her the meeting time/place via SMS. She replied 'Ya, I think should be no problem'. So it was confirmed.

3) A day before the meetup, I smsed her again to remind her. She said she cant meet me, and will get her mother to meet me. After a while, she suggested that I meet her mother at a different time, as her mother was going out. To try and make things easier, I told her I was going somewhere near her convenient location,so I suggested that I can meet her at her desired MRT, which will be better for her. She wanted to change the time, and said she is not free and have to pay her friend to meet me.

4) I think I had done my part to confirm the meetup place and time with her 2 days in advance. If she couldnt make it, she shouldnt confirm with me. As I had arrange my other meetups, it's hard to change. On that day, I had 8 meetups to do!

5) She claimed that I kept changing the time, which I obviously didnt. -.- I was merely suggesting whether it would be better for her if I meet her at her desired MRT Station, just 15mins earlier than the pre-decided timing. (I dont think it's a big change)

6) She agreed on the meetup location, which was the MRT nearest to her. However, suddenly bargained for $1 off, reason being she needs to pay her friend to meet me.

7) So I was kinda pissed. I replied 'Now I'm going to the MRT nearest to your house, I think it's more like you need to pay more, instead of $1 less..' (She already bargained through email, and got a very good deal =.= )

8) She then questioned me on why I cant meet her at her own convenient location at that first place, and why she had to accomodate to my locations and timings. It's not like I told her the venues and timings last minute. I confirmed with her and she agreed. -.-

9) I dont think I really need or want her items, it was more like I took pity on her, as she really liked the top. I explained to her - 'by right, because you initiated the swap, so you need to meet me at my convenient location, as in the T&C...'

10) And lastly, the bolster wasnt as BIG as I thought. It was just a baby's bolster, stands at below my knee cap. -.- I felt cheated, as she kept saying the bolster was big, and i should go and meet her near her place... Other than that, it is a torn monkey bolster, and the other things I got was an old scratched locker.. (Pictures of items are available)

For everything I said, I have evidence of SMSes & Emails.
**Rating of 2 because she still know how to say her word of thanks and taught me how to use the Locker through Sms.
___________________________________________________________________

BlogName: Orienta Cherry
Owner: Windy Koh, 17
http://princesss91.blogspot.com/
Rating: 0/10
Wanted to purchase Black Tube Dress @ $25, but MIA-ed. Not so simple as MIA-ing only.

1) During the last week of May, she confirmed with me that she wants the dress. Hence I reserved for her. I kept proposing to meet her on that week itself, she said she couldnt make it. Some reasons given were her CIP, tuitions, not free, etc etc.

2) She suggested to meet next week, as she said she would be free. I was ok, and I reserved the item for her close to a week. However, on the 2nd week, she changed the proposed meetup again, as she said she had tuitions.

3) Then, we decided to arrange on another meetup. The agreed location she was supposed to meet me was in Jurong. However, knowing that it's too far for her, I suggested somewhere nearer at around the same time. She said she can meet me at Woodlands, but have to be in the Morning. So... other than travelling from Boon Lay to Woodlands, I also gotta wake up ultra early to squeeze the bus with others. I asked if it could be in the afternoon, but she said she cant, as she had tuition again. Hence the meetup was 12pm at Woodlands MRT.

4) I totally accomodated. She confirmed with me and everything. I was relieved, as after 10days or so, we can finally deal, and I dont have to keep Sms-ing her and ask her 'hello, when are you free to meet ar?..' or 'Oh, not free ar? Then when are you free?...' =.=

5) However, on that day itself, I woke up at 10am, with my usual morning headaches. Then after preparing and on the way, I sent her a reminder SMS at 11am. I asked her where is she, and is she on the way. After 10minutes, she replied, 'I cant meet you. Im having high fever.' Well, at the first thought I really think it's lame. If she were really having high fever, dont tell me it only started burning at 11am? I'm sure she would had felt unwell in the morning. AND she did not tell me in advance. I was already on the way to Woodlands!!!

6) I wasted my time, wasted my transportation fees, wasted my hours of sleep, wasted my panadols on curing my morning headaches.

7) I replied 'Oh, then when you can meet?' She did not reply.

8) After 3 days or so, I smsed her again asking 'Hey, do you still want the Black Tube Dress? It has been 2 weeks.' She did not reply again.

9) Well, there are many excuses out there to use. You could have told me something better, but at least in ADVANCE.

Enough is enough. I think I'm being too kind, and people really take it for granted. I'm following my T&Cs strictly to make my life better, stress-free and wrinkle-free.
____________________________________________________________________
